ShellfireVPN enables you to surf the web anonymously. The software can redirect your Internet traffic through a Virtual Private Network (VPN) and as a result, websites and other services will log you with a different IP address, instead of your own. This is a good way to protect your privacy, prevent hackers from obtaining your personal information and it is also a good way to bypass censorship and country-related restrictions.

The software comes in free and paid versions, for Windows, Mac OS X and Android platforms. It can be installed quickly, without any effort. ShellfireVPN's prerequisites are included in the same package and they are installed automatically, so you don't have to run separate installations yourself.

It takes a single click to establish a connection to a VPN from almost anywhere in the world. What's more, you can choose between three methods of connecting, on separate tabs, on the left side of the interface. The simplest method is to click a Connect button, on the home tab, where you can also find a graphical representation of your connection's current status. In this case, the software will connect you to a random server or the last one you have picked.

If you wish to connect to a server from a specific country, you can view a servers list on the second tab. All you have to do is select one and hit the same Connect button. You can also choose between UDP and TCP protocols, before connecting. The available servers can be found on a map as well. You can hover with the mouse cursor over a server's icon, to reveal a few details about the server, as well as a Connect button.

The software also provides a list of TV streams from the USA. You only need to click a listed stream to access it on your default web browser.
